What is with Country music that lifts one’s heart? I cannot quite place it just yet but it is great to return to something familiar and comforting like country, very Denver-ish ‘You fill up my senses’ reminding one of wide misty mountains against a forget-me-not sky blue backdrop and freshly mown soft green grass with that fragrant pine scent. Hunter Hayes brings back the old Texas zing a la Sweet Home Alabama reminding one of dusty country roads, small little fenced wooden houses, strong tough and lovable men and happy wives dancing country or swirling around in a wide hall filled with everyone who knows and loves them. I can’t quite seem to paint the picture, blame it on the damn writers block, but you always just get the country feel, of some strong tough man singing for the woman he loves. It is all very tough lovin’ very Billy Currington and Keith Urban.
